Summer Camps!
We’ve got something for everyone this summer. Each summer camp runs for one week, Mon-Fri. Click the button for details, pricing, and registration. BOGO 10% off your 2nd week of camp if you register by April 1!
Camp Tuition policies: Camp tuition is collected at the time of registration. If a student withdraws from camp at least one week before the start date of the camp the tuition is fully refundable minus the registration fee and a $25 processing fee. Withdrawal less than one week before the start date is not eligible for a refund since we cannot offer that spot to another student with short notice.
Intro to the Instruments
A wonderful gateway to private lessons, this class for 4.5-7 years old lets kids develop their musical fundamentals while enjoying music with friends. We’ll learn to read and write music and spend 4 weeks each on piano, drums, recorder, and violin. We see a different orchestral instrument every week too! By the end of the semester your child will be ready to progress seamlessly into private lessons on the instrument that they enjoyed the most.
San Jose Singing Squad
Mondays 3:30-4:15pm
Middle and high school students are invited to develop their vocal and choral skills in this fun and varied choir taught by AAM Director Hannah Fuerst. While it was founded in 2024 to serve Bret Harte students since they do not have a choir option, middle and high school students from any school or homeschool are welcome. We will prepare and present two performances per year. (Maybe more!) Let's make new friends, sing some harmony, and enjoy music together!
AP Music Theory Test Prep
Mondays 7-8pm
Students grades 8-12 are invited to the most fun AP test prep class ever. This Aug-May class prepares students to succeed on the AP Music Theory test in May 2026. The AP Music Theory test score and “self study” will appear on their high school transcript. Scholarships available. Registration for 2025-26 is closed but exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Band, Orchestra, Choir Ensembles
Does your child attend Graystone Elementary School, Williams Elementary, or Bret Harte Middle School? We offer instrumental ensembles onsite after school. All Together Now!
3 months - 6 years with caregiver
All Together Now! sets the foundation for a lifetime love of music. The proprietary, progressive curriculum blends tried-and-true musical education with modern elements to best fit the needs, interests, and overall development of young children and the grown-ups who accompany them. This fun-filled class for babies - age 6 has something for everyone to enjoy. Activities with age-appropriate variations allow each child to get the full benefits and enjoyment from the entire class. An excellent option for busy caregivers to bring the kids together.
Magic Music Box (TK-Grade 2)
We’re so excited for Miss Kaya’s Magic Music Box class! Grades TK-Grade 2 (ages 4.5-8). In this fun-filled general music class kids develop note-reading and writing, rhythm, pitch, singing, instrumental skills, improvisation, story-telling, and have a blast doing it. Try for free!
